The sofa arrived in several boxes with plenty of packaging to prevent the wood from being damaged. There were no instructions for assembly but each piece & group of screws was clearly labeled. It was easy to put together except for one hole in the seat that was drilled crooked. I had to get a screwdriver & chip out some wood which sadly caused there to be slight splintering around the hole. The cushions are very puffy and I sit quite a bit higher off the ground than expected, but I am sure they will sink a little with use. Overall the sofa was easy to put together and looks great in my living room.
